In The Gentle Approach we focus on the inner strength and beauty and bring that out to our physical bodies. While many fitness challenges, including some I've led in the past, focus on physical outcomes such as weight loss or muscle gain, it's important to recognize that only focusing on these aspects can be hurtful if your mental and spiritual well-being is neglected.

Fitness trends and social media can and have impacted the perception we have on our bodies. The constant diets, workout routines, progress pictures, and others' transformations, may leave you feeling exhausted, discouraged and unfulfilled. In today's society, especially for women, social media has distorted our view of beauty, fitness goals, and self-love, which has led to increased feelings of loneliness and insecurity. When you rely on societal standards and its perceptions of you and your body, you'll never measure up. However, by embracing God's love and recognizing His design for you, your view and how you treat yourself can profoundly change and that is what this challenge is about.
